Become part of TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD at the DATEV Challenge Roth

The aim of our TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD – apart from athletic success – is to actively support the work of Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. 

Since the foundation was established in 2000, it has supported social sports projects aiming to improve the lives of disadvantaged or ill children and young people. Apart from the work of Laureus Sport for Good Foundation in Germany and Austria, the Foundation is also active on a world-wide basis and supports more than 150 projects in 34 nations.

 

“Become Part of TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD” – Exclusive starting slot and original team shirts

 

Under the heading “Become part of TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD and support the SPORT FOR GOOD movement”, we would like to invite everyone to actively support the foundation’s work.

Our first TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD fundraising action will take place within the framework of DATEV Challenge Roth: Although the biggest and most popular long-distance triathlon event had already been booked up 30 seconds after the allocation of the starting slots had been launched, athletes will now have the opportunity to acquire three special “SPORT FOR GOOD” slots in a charity auction. Each of the three special TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD slots will include the right to participate in DATEV Challenge Roth, an original TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD trisuit by X-BIONIC, as well as personal advice on training and competition given by our team athletes Timo Bracht and Horst Reichel, who will both take part in Roth this year.

DATEV Challenge Roth supports this action and in this exceptional case has provided three special starting slots for the race. It will take place on July 12 under the heading “Race the Legend”, featuring around 3,400 individual participants and 650 relay teams. Last year’s race winner and defending champion Timo Bracht, who won the 2014 race in spite of bad weather conditions in a fabulous finishing time of 7:56:00 hours, will again be among the top favourites this year.

Auction of 3 special starting slots via united-charity.de and special promotion in Roth

TEAMCHALLENGE CEO Felix Walchshöfer explains: “We like the idea that a triathlon team – apart from competitive sports – demonstrates social commitment and are glad to make a contribution.”

The three special starting slots will be available in an auction that takes place between May 5 and 22, 2015 via the charity platform united-charity.de at the following link: http://www.unitedcharity.de/SPECIALS/Triathlon 100 % of the receipts will be used to support the social sports projects of Laureus Sport for Good Foundation in Germany and Austria. 

Furthermore, there will be a SPORT FOR GOOD Team Lounge at the EXPO area during the Roth event, where visitors and athletes cannot only meet the members of the pro team, but also learn more about the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and their work, and also support the foundation.
