Darby Thomas racing at Ironman Malaysia

This coming Saturday, Darby Thomas will be at the starting line of Ironman Malaysia. After the races in South Africa, Zurich and Majorca it is Thomas' fourth Ironman distance race this season. Nonetheless, the Finnish athlete is confident that he will have enough energy left to show a strong race.

"Despite the long season and all the races I have competed in, I still feel very good physically. The second half of the season has shown that my hard training has paid off. Especially my tenth place finish at Ironman Majorca has really motivated me in these last weeks. So I am looking forward to another hot race on Saturday."

When the starting gun will be fired on Saturday morning at 7.10 hours local time (0.10 hours CET) at Langkawi beach, the TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD athlete will be facing very tough competitors. Apart from the fast Europeans Fredrik Croneborg, Harry Wiltshire and Balazs Csoke, also Ritchie Nicholls from Gabun is to be counted among the favourites.
