TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD athletes Kaisa Lehtonen and Darby Thomas on the starting line of Ironman South Africa

Tomorrow, on Sunday, the two TEAM SPORT FOR GOOD athletes Kaisa Lehtonen and Darby Thomas will be on the starting line of the Ironman South Africa. While Darby finished in sixth place in 2014, it will be Kaisa's first race in South Africa and her second Ironman ever.

"I'm looking forward so much to race in my second Ironman. Training went extremely well, so I feel very confident. It is a demanding course and the weather conditions will make it a real test for the body and the mind. I am curious about how I will compete in this world class field."

Darby is very happy to be able to race in South Africa again and hopes that his knowledge of the course and of the race will pay off.

"I am super excited to be at the starting line again at the Ironman South Africa. My preparations went very well and in our team camp in Majorca I was able to apply the finishing touches to my shape. I am looking forward to an exciting race and am prepared to give everything."
