Two weeks after her fifth place finish at Ironman 70.3 European Championship in Wiesbaden, Kaisa Lehtonen will take part at Ironman 70.3 Zell am See awaiting her next test under race conditions.
The Finnish athlete expects a hard race in front of an impressive mountain scenery. "In the last years I have heard so many good things about this race and now I am really looking forward to my first start in Zell am See. So many top-class professional athletes will be at the starting line. It's bound to be a hard race."
Not only the strong competitors, but also the mountainous race course and the hot weather everyone expects will make it a very difficult race." It will be a fantastic test for Hawaii. I may race during a full training period, but nonetheless I will give it all to be right in front at the end of the day. I am sure that the fantastic atmosphere in Zell will also be very helpful."
